When should I post up the final?

When should I post up the final?
I have the lists but it would be a shame to run the final over Christmas when people will miss it. I thought I might post them up on 27/12 and let it run until midnight on 31/12. Would that work or will too many people be away until the new year?

I was going to suggest 27th, but why not now for a week. Maybe PM everyone, and give them the occasional bump.
