I wonder if my time here is good for me...

I really cant see JC flouncing. He loves this place too much and he'd miss his jousts with Matt Wilson.

Speaking of which, I haven't seen Matt around lately. Most likely vacationing, I would imagine. Either that or he's just scared of JC?

I can't think of a real shitty, pissy one...SoT a few years ago? when he kept going and coming back, starting threads to protest his innocence then saying he was seeing lawyers etc

Captain Sword? That wasn't particularly enervating.

I keep thinking of going but no-one would notice or care. Then I also realise I'm a grown up.

That's not true. If anything, I think most of us wished you posted more. It's not everyday that you come across someone who holds Genesis and Jandek in equally high regard.

Come back and say you're 'briefly popping in' prior to a complete return, there's a good lad!

I quickly cast a vote for JC because I noticed he hasn't posted since his exchange with the hanging monkey. I know that was only yesterday but it does make you wonder.

he has nowhere else
he'll be back
It's kinda depressing for a music forum to be proud of not knowing musicians.

John Coan backs off from no one, not even hung monkeys.

His wife has likely strangled him with a dish towel.

It has nothing to do with other options.
Oh well, what the feck.

I once thought of starting a Smiths-esque indie band with the name Topical Flounce. Only my lack of talent, ambition, and drive stopped me.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

The fact the poster of the thread was someone who flounced and came back is just incredible
