I heartily endorse this one.
Oh boy is it getting rough, when my old world charm isn't quite enough.

Although I may nominate the Canadian one first. No disrespect to our fine Northern board members, but... Canada? I mean, c'mon!

seconded. I'm yawning already and I've only just got up.
I voted Threadkillers. What's the point?
Re: Most boring thread?
'Answer With A Cover'.
Actually it's absolutely fucking idiotic rather than boring, but I need to register my disapproval somehow and here will do.

If you're not participating in it, I can't imagine why you'd want to look at it.
Some of the responses are quite clever. Playing it really makes your post count grow alarmingly fast!

Re: Most boring thread?
Though I am a Threadkiller doyen (with Megh, Pabst, and a few others), I must say that those threads are so boring, I haven't bothered to open the latest one.
Which means I win.

Re: Most boring thread?
i must vote 'other'.
i choose the thread 'where's 11?' from march 17, 2005 in the BCB cup forum.
no matter how hard i try, i just can't maintain any interest in that one.

It is quite possible to embrace - with genuine love - both the 'Shopping List Of Loons' and 'Answer With A Cover'

Re: Most boring thread?
I guess Threadkillers. That's the one where everyone is trying to (or trying not to) get the last word in?
The other one that bothers me is the Flash! Ah aah!... one. It's just a bunch of random non sequiturs set to the tune of one of the dumbest ironic pop culture references ever, and many of them don't even fit the meter.

Which is sad because you're about the most enlightening writer on here!

Oh, pfft.
Thank you, though!
Sometimes I just don't feel like I have anything to say.
In any event, "AWAC" exercises a different part of my brain that doesn't get much of a workout otherwise.

Re: Most boring thread?
I guess if I had to vote for one of these, it would be Threadkillers... despite the fact that I often am one.
But all of these are clearly fulfilling some kind of need for the people that post to them. So who am I to judge?
That's this thread dead, then. My work here is done!

Re: Most boring thread?
I don't read the Canadian one or the threadkillers one so neither of them bore me. I do read the others in the poll, though not so much Answer With A Cover, and they are fine by me.
The real bores are the "What's wrong with this board is..." type of threads.

I'd like to vote for Shopping Lists of Loons but there's no option..........
Nonsense to the aggressiveness, I've seen more aggression on the my little pony message board......I mean I was told.

Re: Most boring thread?
Those theoretical Beatles threads ... "what would Let It Be have sounded like if John was Ringo, Paul married Yoko and George exploded?"
They get right on my fucking tits.
