Unless I'm mistaken, this came up in a list of godawful songs a while back. Its awfulness certainly struck me at the time. I mean, poor old Chris, he really was into what he was singing:

I just looked up Live on Wikipedia. It turns out that the singer released a solo album last year, entitled Alive. It features songs called 'Drive', 'In Your Light' and 'Soul Whispers'.

If you look him up on Spotify, the list of "related artists" includes Scott Stapp and Candlebox.

God fuck, that really is terrible. It's all in the vocal in the chorus, if you can make it that far. That's a voice only his mother could love. Good Christ.

No! That's just you!

No. It really doesn't get much worse than Wang Chung. Either of their hit songs are absolutely dire and yet they still pop up on the radio every once in a while to spoil my day. Unbelievable.

OK folks - 24 hours from now to get your nominations in.

No novelty songs, please.

Two votes and it goes forward. A particularly impassioned rant and it goes forward. If I especially hate it, it goes forward.

There'll be 50 songs to choose from, starting Wednesday.

Yeah but I'm fucking lazy and i dont want to type it all out again.

Besides I couldn't find a proper version of "Down River" by Wilcannia Mob. But I suppose I could post this

It was almost considered racist not to like this song. Fuck those Triple J art student poseur cunts though, I don't care what the colour of their skin are, this song is completely fucking rubbish. There's an MIA song with this song sampled in it. I think it's best for all involved I don't post that musical abortion here.

Also this, the most boring song in the entire universe, could put fucking sloths in a coma this shit
