That's remarkably insightful, dude.

No offense. :)

Women, though I am feeling too cold-ridden to elucidate. Refer you to Kath and Loki.

I prefer the company of an individual woman to that of an individual man, generally speaking. But I tend to prefer to be in groups of men than in groups of women.

We have a small group of six on the present course, and they're all women. We had the same set-up just before Xmas. They're much, much more difficult to deal with in this training situation than a mixed-sex group, or a group of just men.

Men are funnier.

I used to think i saw the difference between the two groups, i just took a step back and copped on that it's not down to gender, it's down to personality. Both men and women can be assholes, either by themselves, mixed or in groups.

I abstained. It's an individual thing.
Nonsense to the aggressiveness, I've seen more aggression on the my little pony message board......I mean I was told.

Probably not the same thing, but I was once in a band (when I was in college) with five women, and was amazed by how patient and considerate and good-humored everyone was in rehearsals - they were probably the least stressful, most productive band rehearsals I'd ever been in to that point! I can't remember there being more than a couple of musical arguments, and they were quickly settled to (I think) everyone's satisfaction; mostly I remember a lot of laughter, and some good music, too. It was kind of an eye-opening experience for me.

And with maybe two or three notable exceptions, I've always enjoyed working with women, as well.

I wonder what the world would look like if more women were in power? Probably fewer wars.

But when there is one, it would put all past world wars combined to shame.

Being more practical then men, we would not have the incredible feats of engineering.
No skyscrapers and no space program. No Golden Gate Bridge etc.

That didn't even really hurt that much; more of a shock-type thing.

Apparently there are these things called "cluster headaches," where sufferers have a high rate of suicide because the pain is so bad.

It's not very often that a PhD in pain actually comes in handy, so please forgive me for coming in and pretending to have a valid opinion:

Essentially, try and define pain. If you can define it you can measure it. Unfortunately, there really is no real measure. Worse, pain has actually very little to do what is causing the pain.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-12480310

Myself, I think a lot has to do with the memory of pain-- how we think about the pain, and how we remember it-- so someone's statement about labor pain being less, because women forget it and have another baby. This is helped an enormous amount by hormones. Sorry to dismiss the argument of centuries.

I can't say I'm not a little sad women are winning this one. Somehow, knowing the how many more males there are to females on this board-- it seems somehow that we all don't think much of ourselves and think there must be more to the human race than the poor specimen that we are, ourselves. Either that or the people of BCB will just argue anything.

I had a 'sess' with a group of women once. Didn't know which way to turn.
