Very, very fine lists. I have to give it to A this time, as it's wall-to-wall excellent, really. My kind of stuff.

B is far from the worst list left but is a little too uneven. For Smokey and Dusty

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

A rocks my world!
B's choice of the Rockford Files theme is good, but it's not linked to the originally broadcast version of the song.

A doesn't really put much of a foot wrong (the Yeah, Yeah, Yeah's track is pretty dull..but you can't have everything). I thought in round one it was a really strong list, but perhaps went for the populist jugular a little too much in its tendency for short, sharp pop thrills. I think with its additional five its added a welcome depth and variation. I'm especially pleased with the Gladys Knight and Iggy selections.
B deserves credit as well and it would beat 80% of the lists. The Rockford Files is inspired.. fuck kitsch, this is a genuinely exciting piece of instrumental funk and it wins the UK folk battle; that Pentangle track is much better than A's Fairport pick. It is hampered though, it must be said, with a few second division artists. Anyway...

Both inconsistent with moments of greatness. A's the one that beat me, so of course I want it to go all the way now. The usual for what's advancing these days- solid but safe- though the new ones do increase my enthusiasm for it slightly.

Both inconsistent, but there's more good stuff on A - that's a good Yeah Yeah Yeahs song.
