Lisbon, June 8-19

Postby Quaco » 01 Jun 2017, 02:34

I'll be there with some time to kill, as Lady Q is working during those days. Is anybody nearby?

Yes, sounds great! I'll get in touch when I get settled. Still don't know the details, which hotel, or anything really.

Lanky? You must be looking at an old picture.

OK, not the greatest picture but can anyone guess what we were trying for here?

Met Mark/echolalia last night, and we had the best time. Really good. Quick beer at Brasilian bar, walk to unlicensed vegetarian food restaurant where his son works, white wine (not chilled enough!), back to the hip part of town to see a 'dark electronica' artist (which rather undersold her, it was droney and spiritually affirming), with additional beers and discussions both before and after.

We basically agreed that the three best Jam songs were 'Away From the Numbers', 'In the Crowd' and maybe 'Life From a Window', though that third one is still up in the air (no pun intended). Thoughts?

^^^And you'd be right!

We had excellent fun last night. So great to meet Quaco and Mrs Quaco. Pity we didn’t see more of Elysia Crampton but it was good to have a chat with her afterwards.
