The London Jolly Up - 3rd of September

Postby The Slider » 15 Jun 2016, 19:59

20th or 27th August?

27th is bank holiday weekend of course.
And la Denim would probably be down that weekend - she is in Spain on the 20th

If it is the 13th I could do no more than pop by as I'm working at 6.30am on both Sat and Sun.
6th is right out as I'm working lates.

20th is the best option for me, though I can also do the 27th.

20th August is best for me...it's my long weekend.

We couldn't have the August Jolly in September.

Could we?

It would be a bit like having Christmas in January. And who knows what catastrophic chain of events could result from being so reckless.

You might get a better turn out outside of prime holiday season.
It was raining when we drove up the two-lane highway through the long tunnel of trees that led into the black district on the south end of St. Martinville.

September is okay with me generally, although I do normally holiday in that month...this year it's from the 19th onwards....

So 3rd or 10th Sept work for me too.

I may be away that weekend, but in principle it works.

Well, I'll be putting up my new greenhouse in September, but I wasn't coming anyway.

I'll not feel so bad about ordering something to eat at the JU that doesn't take the best part of a weekend in meditation either.
