We will make every possible effort to make it. My favorite cities are the same as ever - Denver (sorry, Paul!), Toronto, or a repeat of Austin. But we'll try to make it wherever it is.

I'm so glad 2017 has been brought up. Even though I haven't been able to go for several years I always hold out hope for the next one. They truly are some of the best times I've ever had.

If Denver is the choice that would be fantastic!
Paul, I really think you would be fine here. 5280, you can do it! There are some truly beautiful things to see here and I would hate for you to miss a JUOTA.
I'd love to see you all and Betty and Slider would be icing on the cake!

(And do remember Denver has fine retail establishments not found in many other places)

Historically it has been the U.S. holiday Memorial day which is the last Monday in May. Of course the world is topsy turvy these days so that date could ve debatable I suppose. It was usually easier for U.S. members getting enough days off to make it work.
Execution has been spotty as of late. Talking about it is better than not talking about it. :)

last weekend of may?
anybody want to set a date, start a thread, pick a spot?

I'm totally taking vacation time around June 1, but could finagle it earlier

Unlikely to come together this quickly, and we definitely can't make it, but there's an easy solution - COME TO LA! We are remarkably good at actually getting our shit together for out of town guests.

We're already planning a gathering for 5/13, but if that's too early, I bet we'd all be happy to do it a second time in June.
