I've got a a few bits to bring for quiz prizes. Not all of it shit, either. This assumes there is definitely a quiz, of course...

Getting out of work for 5:30, will get there as soon as. Don't get too pissed!
You see, there are still faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity. Indeed that's what we provide in our own modest, humble, insignificant... oh, fuck it.

Completely forget about this. I'm taking my mum to a Christmas fair, but it's in central London, so I will be along after..around five I should imagine.

I'm happy to do one, if nobody else is going to. If anybody else already has one in hand, please let me know before tomorrow, as I'll put it together then otherwise.

I'd say go for it. Having done one myself, I'd say it's a lot of fun actually delivering the quiz. The painful looks of drunken team members attempting to answer that last tricky poser are so entertaining....

Is it just you or is the lovely Mrs C joining us?

I could be there around 3.30pm.
It was raining when we drove up the two-lane highway through the long tunnel of trees that led into the black district on the south end of St. Martinville.

Robust stuff

Mrs C is coming along a bit later probably about 5.30 and then we are meeting some friends for dinner in Borough Market.

We'll leave about 6.30pm

Quiz done. It's a toughie! (I think). If anyone has prizes, please bring them along.

When you say 'tricky poser' are you referring to a question or Griff?
He's a simpleton. 200 years ago they wouldn't have let him milk a cow.

I need a excuse to duck out of my girlfriend's glitter-heavy work Christmas party thing, so will pop by at some point.

I suspect that many of you attending today would be interested in this concert at lunchtime.
12-2 at the Union Chapel, which I will almost certainly be attending.

http://store.unionchapel.org.uk/events/ ... on-chapel/

Union Chapel presents:
Daylight Music 209
James McVinnie + Mara Carlyle + Liam Byrne + HART
 Union Chapel, London
Saturday 5 December 12:00 Room: Chapel
Free* Entry Requirements: Under 16s accompanied by an adult

A lazy afternoon with music, tea and cake. An event for all ages. Free entry* midday - till 2.00pm. Follow us on facebook | twitter or join the mailing list. (*suggested donation £5.00). Produced by Arctic Circle.

World famous organist James McVinnie makes the perfect partner for the Union Chapel's 200 year old Henry Willis organ. In the spirit of Christmas, James has invited his closest musical chums to share the stage with him: Mara Carlyle, Liam Byrne and HART. Together, they’ll be presenting some of their own music and doing arrangements of hidden gems and forgotten carols.
The Complete Beatles Mp3 set now available in the usual place, should you want one.
