So three days before and no definite decision as to whether this is happening or not? I'm assuming not.

Future weekend days possible for me (as of now):

May 22
May 29
June 18
June 19 (Father's Day, for those who care...)

then we go to July or later...

Of course you're all welcome to visit us in Camarillo pretty much any time you like. We know all the good spots (and actually, there's a beer bar that I haven't tried yet that would be a great JU spot)...

I hate to say it, but this Friday isn't looking as good for me now. I would prefer to put it off, myself. The 29th is good for me.

OK, the 29th then. That's almost three weeks away. Enough time to actually MAKE IT HAPPEN. Let's do it.

Bummer, I was ready for this weekend. The 29th should work. Anyone heard from Matt?

Sorry guys, that's Memorial Day weekend and I'll be out of town. Friday would've been better...

So the question is, should we go for the 29th and then do another later this summer? That's my vote. Won't be the same without Matt, of course, but there's something to be said for making something happen once so it'll be easier next time. I'll leave it up to Tom, since he started the thread, but for what it's worth, I'm now out for pretty much all of June, so unless we can do a Friday some time, it's kind of now or not for a while.

What ever happened to the good old days when out of town BCB-ers would show up in SoCal every other month? No one calls, no one writes...

I'm up for the 29th if we can manage and then later in the summer. Let's do something!

I'm assuming Fridays are tough for Todd, Jim, and possibly Tom as well, but they're good for me if it's in the valley. I'm free most of the next several Fridays, and the 27th is fine for me.

Sorry to say, the 27th and 28th are both totally booked, so I can't make it. Of course, you might actually prefer that! Or if you want about 15 of my old school friends to drop by ...

My vote is we finalize either the 27th (with no Jim) or the 29th (with no Matt). Maybe see which is better for everyone else? I'm fine with either.

Better to have a sparsely attended JU than none at all, I say. And we have to break the ice somehow.

I can hang with either but a Sunday would be somewhat easier than a Friday at this point. Which day gets the most people there? Any other locals want to weigh in?

The Cat & Fiddle is coming back. Now there can be no argument over where to go. Who's in???

From their Facebook page -

Looks like the Cat is out of the bag!
If you have heard the news, it's true...this Cat's got at least 9 lives. We're coming back.
We are currently in escrow for our new location on Highland Ave. The location is smaller with a lovely patio and is very intimate. We will be featuring a few of our favorite menu items and beverages along with some new and innovative ideas. There are also catering plans in the works.
THANK YOU to all of our fans, friends and family and your support. For some of you, we go back 34 years to our original location in Laurel Canyon. Excited to see you February 2017 and be part of the community once again.

Inclement weather's a deal-breaker; otherwise, in.

Daytime March 25 (Saturday) would be great, because I have a thing that evening in Glendale.
