You will be my valentine, won't you?
I might even make a rare trip into LA for this.

Oh, please DO! The agency will NEVER book us into Camarillo - much as we all want that curry.

You gotta figure out a way to hitch the Hushdrops wagon to the Bloodshot Express for SXSW in March!
Unless you don't want to, of course!

Re: JSJ on tour express
Hotel Cafe is an interesting case where they clear the room after each band. Thus only your fans will be there to see you: the upside is everybody in the room is there to see the band in question, and it's a good showcase place for that reason; the downside is you don't really get to make converts by playing to other bands' fans, and the room may seem empty if you don't get people down to see you.
EDIT: I just read the fine print on the site and it says that a ticket is usually good for the whole evening, so maybe I just have been there on showcase night where they cleared the room. Maybe it's not every time.

I was speaking generally coming down with drumming Joe, though it's probably not actually worth the effort!

Well, yeah, I figure it's only a matter of time before I'm asked to participate in some sort of performing capacity. Barring that, it is a hard sell for me personally.

For all that I've been indirectly reminded of my folly in placing this stuff in the J.U. section, I should add that I now see a London date on the website (and am now waiting for some confirmation that it is, in fact, a band outing rather than a Liam Hayes solo joint).

I was just going to say: clearing the room after every band is an awful idea.

It had to be a fucking Monday for the 9th, huh?
I'll try my hardest though.
I take the train into work most days and it's not near Bottom of the Hill, which is in the Portrero Hill area of San Francisco, hence "Hill" in the club title. I suddenly feel sick and may have to miss a day of work to do this. This is where Quaco's band played, by the way.

Probably four or so years ago during a summer. A buddy of mine and I went to see him.

Far as that is from my home, it still feels like yet another "missed Mills" to me.
