I have to be in Burbank by 7, and I'm sticking around home till the early afternoon, but I should be good for a few hours in there somewhere.

So what do you think, 1-4 or so? If either of you (Dave or Tom) have scheduling issues, say what time is best or you. It may just be us.

1:00 is good for me. Has anyone contacted any other Angelenos? This may have slipped by unnoticed.

I would be there closer to 4 than 1, but if you're there I'll at least stop by.

I haven't contacted anyone, as I wasn't sure when/if it was happening.

We should keep in mind that this is the last weekend - the whole area will probably be crazy crowded.

We should move it to closer to 4:00. Does that work for you, Jim?

I'm out of town with just my IPhone. Can someone tell Mr Wilson? I can't figure out the message thing on the phone. See y'all tomorrow.

Try attending one! Christ, between Matt Wilson making us name the 7 best Deep Cuts of 1976 and Quaco demanding to know in what order we eat our dinner we barely have time to drink.

But, seriously, why do you say that?

Oh, I'm not being serious. But they always seem to have an element of "is this thing still happening" to them, even right up to the last minute.

We're being mellow and "take it as it comes" about it instead of those Nazis in London.

Went to the zoo beforehand, so since we only took two pictures at the pub, I'm including them all.

So did anyone actually manage to squeeze in a food order in the five hours you were all together?

The place was packed with people trying to get in a last visit before it closes. The hostess came over and told us that if we wanted to remain at the table we had we would have to order food. If we were only drinking we'd have to give up the table. Then, even though we were ready and willing to order, it took forever to actually get anyone to take our order. It began to look like we'd be leaving without being able to eat.

A nice change of pace, I suppose.

Hell yes! It's the best thing. Pound one beer, then get another and stand there and watch the giraffes walk about.

Nothing inspires us to get our shit together like a guest - we always rise to the occasion for that (though we still fight over the bill, as DD will attest).

Yes, this is a serious hint. Get out here already!
