Well I've arrived in Nashville safely and I'm looking forward to this Jolly Up. It is in Nashville this year, right? :? ;)

Seriously, I have returned to the scene of the crime from what, 2006 or 2007?
It will be interesting to see what has changed. I know the place is a lot more popular than it was when we were here. I'm excited to return to the CMHOF as well with the new exhibit with Dylan and the rest of the rock brigade that followed. It has the potential to be really cool. Unfortunately I won't be able to see my brother's band play on Broadway Friday and Saturday as I'll be in Chicago for something.

See you guys in a few days!

We stay at homes are expecting a full account, with index, and several hundred well-captioned photos, some time before Labour Day. And yomp and / or C.W., you gotta bring me back a teashop*.

I shall be spending the weekend with a farmers' market spree, several hundred blooming geraniums and the last gasp of the football season.

Have fun! Do all kinds of things I wouldn't do!

Just back from visiting Motown, so now stuck in Detroit for the rest of the day. I'll be arriving in Chicago tomorrow midday, so see you all then. Might be an idea if those at Days Inn can post room numbers on thread. I'll aim to catch up with those there sometime tomorrow, but I would expect beer in the eving is a strong possibility !!

I went to a Musician's Hall Of Fame in Nashville. They had exhibits with not only country music but just about every important studio in the U.S. with instruments, clothes, written music and other sundrie items from the music world. While it isn't worth coming here for, it was worth going to while we waited for room to be redied.

I just had my first deep dish pizza. One slice and I'll probably never eat again. I love it. Only been on Chicago 4 hours, I'm already a fan.

I was going to suggest the same regarding room numbers. Will make connecting easier.

Happy Longlegs and I will be arriving late afternoon.

I expect much time to be spent giving some merciless hugs to people I've missed terribly.

So, are folks going to meet up anywhere special tomorrow (Friday, 22nd)? I read through the thread since my last visit. I see suggestions, but nothing firm.
