Yep. I get the King's Head and Fox and Hounds mixed up sometimes.

But what I said about the traffic and being a crowded area applies equally to both.

I like the Robin Hood and go there frequently, so I'd be cool with that too.

Or, if y'all'd be willing to come farther west (which would be a nice compromise for myself and Muskrat), there's also this place:

You may be getting too far afield for Mr. Wilson.

Under 20 miles for everybody else (other than maybe you, but it is a straight shot, and you were willing to come out our way) vs. 30 miles for me (and close to 50 for Muskrat) seems like a fair compromise to me.

That said, I did say anywhere was fine. I'd just prefer not to cross the 405 wall if I don't have to.

Since you, me (other than my slight preference for the west valley) and Quaco seem to be OK with whatever (correct me if I'm wrong), I say let's see how Matt and Todd feel about it.

I'm actually fine with Camarillo. It's just driving, part of the deal in the Southland.

Vibe-wise, I think I'm leaning toward Robin Hood. King's Head is a bit loud, Fox and Hounds isn't inviting, Pickwick is very large not that there's anything wrong with that per se. Robin Hood is snug and carpeted as it should be, but still gets lively later on.

I'm easy. Just let me know where and when. I enjoyed heading out to Ventura last time.

Pickwick looks good to me if it's greater L.A. this time, and (coming from the north) it isn't past the 405. The music on the White Hart's website gives me a headache.

I'm pretty sure we decided upon Sunday Sept. 21 for the date. 2 or 3 maybe for time?

Not too much traffic on this thread lately. 2 or 3 sounds good to me. I hope you guys plan on sitting indoors as the forecast is hot as hell for next weekend just like it is right now.

I'm just waiting for people to settle on something. Is Sunday, Pickwick at 2 or 3 it, then?

I did mention it to both Goldwax and the reclusive Bixhenry. Had dinner with both last night after the Gene Clark movie showing turned out to be impossible to get into.

I wouldn't count on them coming, but anything's possible.

Good stuff - photos to come (which will be of no interest to anyone except a few bored English people)..

Next time, Jack Daniels shots first.
