Good times. Great to see you all again. After the tiki bar, we (minus pillowz) went to the record store. (Presently listening to the I Spy TV show soundtrack album.) And after that, hatz and us Qs went to an Irish pub in Camarillo for a nightcap. Pretty nice place, I have to say, and good day all around.

We talked about Camarillo for a future JU location; closer for folks coming from LA and not far for Muskrat (and really close for us ). The Irish pub there is really nice- a lot of private booths, good selection of food and drinks, lots of room so it probably rarely gets overcrowded. Only problem is no patio; it's all indoors.
Maybe we can find a place with a patio during the day and move over to Brendan's at night.
Thanks to the folks that came up and to Muskrat for 'holding down the fort' till everybody got there; it was a really fun day. Only downside was how overcrowded the place was- first nice sunny weekend day of the year, so everybody was out, particularly near the ocean, which was pretty close to us. The drinks were really good; the food was decent but a bit overpriced (and took a while to arrive).

Corrected!
And it was a fine, if brief, JU. I don't know if I'd go back to the Tiki joint. It wasn't very Tiki and the service was really awful. But it's a pleasant drive and a nice getaway for a couple of hours.

In any event, you can have fun researching potential locations.
I may try Brendan's for lunch some day, anyway -- I love lamb stew!
