Well I had a great time.... wonderful set of tunes spanning the chap's career... tasty Thai meal afterwards followed by a stroll along the river.

This seems like as good a thread as any to mention that The Day Before Wine And Roses - the Dream Syndicate live on KPFK the night before they went into the studio to begin their first LP (hence the title) - is getting its first full vinyl release in September. Very highly recommended.

I have that on CD and it is one tasty platter. Does the vinyl contain more material than the CD release?
