Rather belated, but what a lovely event it was, even if it was female free. Good to see a pic of the True Doyens in attendance - a fine body of men, if not all fine bodies.

But blimey, £5.50 for a bottle of cider that used to cost £2.95? I'm surprised the bar staff weren't wearing stockings over their heads.

The barman said to me that he was surprised the bloke drinking the poncey organic extra virgin cider at £5.50 a bottle wasn't wearing stockings.

I think we're going to have to find another venue as the prices of drinks have gone through the roof (OK it is London, but still.....).

it's still cheaper than anywhere else round there, and if you are drinking the normal lager or the OBB it is still less than 3 quid a pint.

You have always had to pay more for a girl's drink.

I take your point. I suppose to a certain extent we have been spoilt using this pub as the prices seemed so bloody cheap for central London.

Who do we think will still be at the London Jolly Up, April 2022?

Blimey Pete! That question deserves a thread of it's own!

To be honest I'm suprised that I/we made it to the April 2012 JU as so much has happened in the intervening ten years since The Moon Under Water in 2002.

Obviously I would like to think that I'll make it to 2022, but who knows.....
