ackk. i do know how much no health care sucks. i hope ya find a job soon. (i also know what it's like to be jobless and livin on one income, as i've been doing it for 13 years... but i haven't been actively lookin for work, either. this is probably a good thing, as i can't really use what's on my vita. i'd be startin from scratch, flippin burgers or baggin groceries. nowt wrong with that, of course, except for the fact that those jobs rely on a certain amount of physical coordination. i'm not sure any workplace is insured enough to cover my kinda damage.)

In fact you can get the best of Wales by driving through the mountains to get to the Holyhead ferry to sail to Dublin and kill 2 birds with one stone.

A couple of days in Snowdonia looking at the mountains and the mighty medieval castles is probably all you need

An itinerary including a day in Snowdonia, a morning in Caernarvon Castle and an afternoon walk on Llandwyn beach with the back drop of Snowdonia and Llyn before getting an evening fast catamaran ferry to Dublin is probably all you need.

Whew, *wipes brow*, Thank you for the recomendation. Soon I'll be starting a thread inquiring about opinions on how best to spread my days in these countries and which towns in each to use as a base camp. The JU is defo but the other parts are still up in the air.

I'm going to the Mermaid tomorrow for the weekend.

Methinks that the level of interest is too low for me to really be bothered about organising something. I appreciate that it's a way off and difficult to commit to though.

I've been thinking the same thing. For me it's a long range plan and I understand for the locals that they can wait till almost the last minute to commit. We're coming over for a few weeks JU or no JU.

Oh I'm sure there'll be something, even if we have to downgrade our ambitions a bit.

You've done alright with the weather today then. It's days like this that I wish I lived in that place. Actually, it's most days, but some just slightly more than others.

Yes we did brilliantly with the weather on Saturday - went to Wesson and walked to Thor's Cave.

It is a magnificent venue and PERFECT for an extended Jolly, but as I intimated previously, it is too much effort for me to cajole and coerce around 30 people into parting with money in say Jan or Feb for something happening in July/August. You need to be organised for this sort of thing and I don't want the hassle of it. Plus to be honest it is now highly unlikely that I would be able to attend anyway.

This might be something in the future worth attending. A bucket list event so to speak. A trip to the UK with my Daughter and a day spent with fellow BCB users. The greatest triumph would be serving you as a waiter then reveling that I was YELLOW JACKET. My Daughter has been over there to England a couple of times and did a internship at "Q Magazine" went to see Liverpool and all the BEATLE haunts etc....
How would you like to be remembered? Oh I don't know. I suppose if we are remembered as a great little rock and roll band it would be fine.........

Due to recent relationship changes and a need to get the fuck away from things this has become a real possibility.

I'll be bringing a special canadian guest

I'm quite into the idea of hiring a boat for the day -does that appeal to anyone?
