Much as I'd love to sup beer for 12 hours - is there owt nearby like a restaurant, art gallery, museum or Dawkins lecture? to break the day up a little?
Just a thought - like

Keen's Steakhouse is a block away. Very good whiskey selection. Great steaks (not Peter Luger, but better than Morton's, Ruth's Chris, et al), even better mutton chops - best in NYC. Great ambiance - it's old school NYC, but nice waiters unlike Lugers. Worth a look if you are at the Gingerman and get hungry. Otherwise Guye and I know this little Japanese place....

There's also Radio Star right near by, but I think we'd kill each other at karaoke.
the Eagles suck.

Bad news.

I woke up with swollen glands and was trying to ignore it, but I'm feeling worst as the day goes on.

I'm really sorry, but it looks like I can't make it today.

Sorry to hear that, Rita! If anyone had Internet on their phone, I'm planning to get there around 5:00 - 5:30.

Leave 'em home. You don't need those glands. It's only the Prof you're meeting after all.

It took Prof to get some pictures out of you fuckers.
Hope you feel better, Livet!

Pretty certain that's Lady Snarf rather than Mrs. E., but I could be wrong.

It was great to finally meet some BCBrs!

The evening turned sour for us on our journey home unfortunately, by that point I must have had way too much to drink as I managed to get lost (not sure how as it's just a straight walk pretty much off the subway), and Mrs Qube now has a broken wrist. Sunday wasn't the most fun either of us have ever had.

Should have just gotten a cab

Yup!

But seriously what WAS that orange liquid?? That doesn't sound like a fun way to end the night, Qubes. A lot of those beers are the "high octane" kind. Heavy stuff. According to my bank statement I took a cab home at some point but no recollection.

Anyway the parts I do remember were enjoyable - everything after Gingerman is a blur. Good times meeting some of you for the first time, great to see the Snarfys and the little Snarf. What a cool baby.

Sunday was a rough day at the office

I can't remember what the drink was, I think I was holding it for Mrs Qube, who was taking the picture at the time. Must remember to eat something next time!
