Nice shoes! Nice back!

I've got the original right in front of me - I scanned it a few minutes ago. You can barely see the club on it and there's no way you could see the ball in the glare.

I love the nature of the tee box, her shoes, the opened back of her dress and the fact that it was 1933 - not many women played golf back then.

Haha, I havn't had one of those for about twenty years. I only play rec hockey now, and although its fiercely competetive we don't keep stats. We either win or lose, shots on goal...maybe if someone can be arsed to goal judge. We play a few tournaments a year and we have 'Tournament goalie' awards, but throughout the year..nah. That particular game we won 9-2.

Nice. I should try to convince my team to travel to England for a friendly. :)

You should!
We have hosted a few Canadian teams over the years. We have played the Canadian Submariners, who are based at Barrow In Furness. They are part of the Navy contingent and the team changes each year. We've played twice now and on both occasions we beat them :P
We played a touring team from Gatineau last year. I played for my local team Grimsby, and also guested again for Hull (Grimsby & Hull are divided only by a river). We lost the one at Grimsby, but drew the Hull game.
Two years ago we played at a tournament in Niagra and came fourth (out of twelve teams). Not bad for a team of veterans from England eh!.
You'd be suprised how many rinks there are, and how good the standard of hockey is over here.

Why aren't there Brits in the NHL then? We've had the eastern Euro invasion; is the UK one going to be next?

Daniel Taylor I think is still on LA's roster.
Byron Dafoe, Steve Smith both from England.
We have now started seeing NHL scouts at British rinks. The GB Association adopted a capping policy on import players in UK teams a few years ago, which has enabled us to nurture our home grown talent. Maybe the FA should do this too and we'd have a better England soccer team eh? ;)

It's a hair clasp...I didn't realise it looked like some kind of port for plugging me into a machine

That horse was lovely...he was just standing in the field, looking bored, when I called him over and it was obvious he wanted the biscuit...he was so gentle and just wanted a big cuddle...I wanted to take him home
