11. Some of you may have noticed that I've been a bit whiny on the boards lately.

I've lost a parent, I'm 45, and I'm feeling the rush of years toward the end of life. My job involves trying to help people that are rude and disrespect me. The county is in a money crunch and wants to cut the public defenders' pay even though drug incursion means the number of cases we do has actually increased. We get no retirement or health benefits.

***

I have a pretty consistent complex about feeling unloved that dates way back to when I was six years old. It comes back during periods when I'm vulnerable, wgich I am now.

I intend to do a play this summer. Doing this show will be a good thing for me. People will laugh at the funny clown, and I will feel loved.

And I don't mean loved in a sexual way. Loved and appreciated for being the Great Person I always thought I was. I want to be heaved onto the shoulders of humanity and have them sing "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow".

Loved by all! Nothing less is good enough!

Having met the Prez and Tweety, Tweety is quite a bit shorter. She´s like a little perfect doll (if you´ll forgive me saying so Tweety).

Velvis, you know we think the world of you. Your warped sense of humor, your intelligence, your kindness and your love of Disney (although Land is far more magical than World!).

Oh, that's fine by me, Hotsie!

And everybody loves you, Velvis. Where's that pic of you with that great big towel on your head... :D

Velvis? Who's this Velvis guy?

Why, he'd probably take you for a long walk along an iced-up path through the country side when you aren't even wearing the right clothes!

If only you knew......................I had my last illusion shattered on meeting up with the rather short { but very amiable} Mr. Chopping to realise we are the same height, but to be taller than someone, has made my week!
