All teachers are witless drones???
P'haps it's a London thing.
In our staff room the general consensus was that the between acts comedian acts were largely embarrassing sad efforts, the best bits were The Who, The Floyd and Macca.
Madonna came in for a fair amount of stick for hanging onto the Ethopian woman and trying to get the audience singing along to Music, as did Williams for his general prattishness.
The best bit of it according to Year Five (9 -10 year olds) was Peter Kay/crowd with Road to Amorillo.

Actually, i think that's the gimp from Maroon 5.
It IS Rob Thomas as he was the only one to perform with Stevie Wonder at the event. They performed Stevie's "Higher Ground" (1973) together.

Why didn't I see that too? My bloody occasional breaks from TV sreen!
Rob Thomas and Adam Levine look so similar to each other since the first cut his hair that it's impossible to tell who is who really at all.

Ok, this is getting predictable, Kieth Urban?
Oh and when did country bands start doing guitar hero poses and have shaved heads and tattoos?
Who the heck is Keith Urban?!?
Keith Urban's Australian and is bloody huge in the American country music scene. Like popular in swathes of middle America huge. The only reason I know that is because he's Australian. I know nought about his music. Your friendly music information service.
Didn't see any of this, no cable TV, but I'm glad Kanye came across well. Been a huge fan of his for a while, even when he gets all religious I can forgive him. Am eagerly awaiting the new album Late Registration, advance copies of which are available on the net. Though I wait patiently for the legit release.
So these artists should all donate the revenues from their next album to appropriate charities. It's only reasonable.

"The Gimp and The Blimp"
I have to admit that I was very impressed by his voice. He sang as well as Wonder on "Signed, Sealed, Delivered".

Thanx, Pete!
Realised it only now.
