Someone remind me of the beef between Gilmour and Mason? I think I'm up to speed with the others...

You're right of course. I'd have much preferred it if his performance had been humble and worthy and essentially dull but instead he had the cheek to try and be entertaining for all the crowd there! Did nobody tell him this day isn't about entertainment!
I can just about handle you driving like a pissed up crackhead and treating women like beanbags but I'm gonna say this once and once only Gene, stay out of Camberwick Green!

Great tits, Mimi.
In other words an extended look into *******’s head, and it seems to have some pretty good things in it (who among us is totally free of mental garbage?) It’s nice to see that he is confident enough so he can play some blues again,I’d like to hear more.

i didn't see much of live8 but i caught robbie, the who and pink floyd in a pub, albeit as background music. robbie seemed great, from what i could see. the who were surprisingly good too. wasn't too fussed about the floyd except for "wish you were here" but that's more due to the fact that WYWH is the only floyd track i really love.

the general consensus around the staffroom table today was that robbie was the best thing all day. make of that what you will.
