On another note, does anyone else agree with Dave Marsh's assesment in the Heart of Rock and Soul
that "It's the Same Old Song" is better than "I Can't Help Myself". I think I do. Sure, both are pretty impeacable, but the latter, despite being almost a complete repeat when it comes to the melody and chorus line, has a tougher vocal from Stubbs, better lyrics and a greater sense of force.
Wouldn't live without either, mind.
