The Caravan is wonderful. However, put an acoustic guitar in Ian Anderson's hands and you probably have my vote by default.

Re: PP 2014 Round 2 Match 10
Tough choice indeed- I like almost all the Caravan I've heard and am much more hit and miss with Tull, but that is one of the best Tull tunes ever.
I may change my mind but for now I'm going B.

Bleedin' 'ell yes!
The toughest round yet.
Both are in my DNA - the wonderful Caravan track featured in my winning list of the first ever Prog Cup.
Jethro Tull - the greatest band that ever walked the planet are my brothers
Both tracks are of equal beauty - both tracks make me so happy inside.
Both delightful and full of music
This is almost impossible - I am not going to abstain
Bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger.......

2 bona fide classics from the same era, both nicely pastoral.... what to pick?
It's a narrow margin, but I'll go for the melodious and warm voice of Richard Sinclair.

It's kinda depressing for a music forum to be proud of not knowing musicians.

in my opinion, the only way to fairly vote here is to play one then the other then the one then the other then the first again and then the second and then back to the first with a revisit to the second etcetcetcetc.
only then may a proper scientific choice be made.

Near perfection both of them. A today, I'm feeling middle class and home counties. (Is Kent a home county? Maybe not.)
