Apologies if I've missed it, but who else voted for Stars of the Lid and the Refinement of their Decline? I would like to shake your hand.

Judging by its place on the long list, someone else must have voted for it. It wasn't you and it wasn't Spec.......?

I have 45 of the 100
Not big on modern rap or groups of men with beards and plaid shirts so I imagine that is where most of the missing ones went

What we need now is a list of votes for groups rather than albums

I reckon radiohead would wipe the floor with everyone on that

The really great thing is that it is making me pull out a load of these records to give them a spin (just got MBV on now). That's BCB at its most potent. I reckon we should synch listen a bunch of these.

I'm not sure what happens when we start adding in other decades, but a lot of this stuff gets forgotten about - and if I am honest there is a load of stuff on this list that stands up against some of the best of other decades. And plenty better than the usual stuff that pops up. I'm sure someone will disagree.

Time has been kind to a bunch of these albums, I'm guessing the 00's will have thrown out its share of great stuff as well when we look back in 10 years.
Of course, I was mostly stoned at the time.
