Good write up Ray.
I saw the Incantations tour on London’s South Bank, must have been 78 or 79. It was magnificent. One of the most enjoyable concerts I’d seen.
I’d forgotten he put out the Exposed live album, which incidentally is not on Spotify, although there are dozens of his studio albums and multiple compilations. I must see if I can find a vinyl copy.
I did buy Guitars, but it was poor, and hoped Millenium Bell would be good. It wasn’t.
He did have a bit of a renaissance when he played at the thrilling opening of the London Olympics, but failed to capitalise on the opportunity.
It was raining when we drove up the two-lane highway through the long tunnel of trees that led into the black district on the south end of St. Martinville.
