The Kirk track on A is frantastic. I have to admire A for submitting such an uncompromising list, but quite a lot of it just isn't for me. B is much more my thing overall. The Nino Ferrer track is a killer.

B had me at USA, but it's pretty much all good.

What Moddie said about A.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Nice to see so many familiar BCB favourites on A. Actually, fair play to just going for it, why the hell not. However, B is just more for me, a pretty solid and well sourced selection all round.

More of the people who participate in this should also be a part of Mix Club.

Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Would have loved to reward A’s iconoclasm..but then I listened.

B is pretty spotty for me, but it has enough to win this round.

Both lists have a lot of stuff I'm unfamiliar with, and I was really digging A's vibe but then I started listening to B's choices and I knew I'd have to go with them (except for that Monsoon track. Ugh). Sorry A.

If you've got nothing to do, don't do it here.

A has done pretty well, there. A lot of that stuff is actually listenable and appealing, rather than just being "challenging" "outsider" "art" piffle. I particularly liked the first two, and of course Kirk, the most obviously BCB-friendly of the lot.

Some of it is amateurish rubbish, though: nowhere near as smart or edgy as it thinks it is. I'm looking at you, Liaisons Dangereuses. I like 'I, Bloodbrother Be' which is the only other Shockheaded Peters I've heard, but this one was pants.

I'm kind of tempted to vote for it regardless as I do always like these personal lists, but ultimately there are more songs I actually like on B. I was particularly keen on the Mark Murphy which I've never heard of before.

Despite the wonderful Kirk track, overall this is a clear points win for B.
