I'm still mad at A for knocking me out, the Baxter track is dull, and B is still one of my favorite lists - eccentric and eclectic, with pretty much everything worth a listen so far (the Fry track is great, if a bit overlong).

I like the Baxter Dury song but A remains a bit of a mixed bag, really. For some reason I overlooked B on first pass but that’s an exotic and eclectic selection in line with the new adventurism of the Cup. That Jimmy Holiday track is particularly ace and the whole list has a cool and satisfying vibe.

There's much more for me on B here. I really enjoyed the Jimmy Holliday track, great track. I've picked the Mark Fry one myself in the past so I'm obviously predisposed to that. Lots of other goodies too. A is becoming one of those "not my thing" lists I'm afraid.

A

It won't win either. No one on here has listened to more than one Weeknd song.

A despite thinking that Dury pere et fils is a bit of a misstep.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Blimey, that Baxter Dury fella is desperate to be the new Ray Winstone. The dullness of the three new tracks has really spoiled what was one of the more eclectic mixes here. Poor show.

I'd forgotten the existence of Mark Fry, good choice. I prefer Scott Walker when he's warbling operatically about punching donkeys. B has improved, but there's more chance of hearing something interesting from A, so they're just about retaining my vote.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

A is not so much a curate's egg as a whore's drawers, and the additions continue that trend. A better Weeknd effort - enlivened by the glitchy beat and a bit of Kendrick - but the Baxter Dury one is atrocious and that's one of his dad's crappier numbers too.

B has turned a carefully tasteful list into one I'd gladly listen to with three strong additions. Well done that person.

A – the Tobacco track’s OK.
I had high hopes for Dirty Beaches – and liked it.
The Coltrane came along at the right moment.
The Weeknd drop an e but it feels like the dismals to me.

I like B better.
The Terry Reid track is a belter.
Ace Jimmy Holiday pick.
Yes the new 3 from B is very good indeed.
