B plays fine for me. And it's great! Not sure how prog it is - just sounds to me like a raga played on western instruments - but I can't deny I find it pretty thrilling.

A sounds awfully impressed with themselves. Yawn.

B is brilliant and represents everything I love about zany Japanese prog.

I find Echolyn somewhat over-rated. I mean I like them well enough but there’s an absence of warmth /charm to my ears and they are certainly not one of the current genre leading outfits. This track is ok-ish.

But - although I couldn’t make it past minute 2 myself, I heard enough of that Japanese twaddle to be seriously questioning the sanity of 3 of my esteemed co-voters who somehow marked a B....

A

A - Echolyn can be hit or miss but I think they have a nice collection of catchy poppy modern prog. Great little jam too.

B - I found this a bit annoying too disjointed.

Bonkers Japanese Prog is my kind of Jam. A is smug, ,faux theatrical and way, way too pleased with itself.
b.

A is somewhat smug and pleased with itself but then what Prog isn't? King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant, Yes.... all as smug as it as it gets but they still made great music. A wasn't great though, just merely ok

B was quite mad but I enjoyed it. A nice middle calming section too before the madness returned and good tubs throughout.

B isn't uninteresting, but I really do prefer the derivative claptrap produced by the Murricans with the obvious Gentle Giant fixation.
