Both really great, and on the fringes of progdom. Slight edge for A I can't think of a much more proggish move than doing a dance single in 5/4. And despite being many years old, the sentiment is timely.

I'll pass on A - that does not compute

Superb tabla from one of the greats Shakir Khan and violin from the pandit Lakshminarayana Shankar gets my vote with a bit of twiddly acoustic from Johnny Mc.

Regarding L. Shankar if you are not familiar it is worth checking out some of his solo albums.

He did a spell with Zappa and made his first album which was produced by Frank on which Zappa guests on a couple of tracks

A was marginally better.

A was just about the least Prog thing we've had so far - ok maybe China Crisis has it beat - but I did enjoy the track more than was expecting after initial misgivings. Loved the electric harmonica especially

B was a bit too fiddly dee dee for me but very nice tablas.

A just.

A could have been made by any of the cloth-eared twonks voting in this cup. With a recordable walkman and distinct lack of imagination.

These are both new tracks for me and both good in their own way. I’m favoring A because it’s more interesting and refreshing than B.

Anthony Moore was some kind of fun, but I'll never want to deliberately hear it again.

Shakti are superb, I return to them often, usually on a Sunday. Today's Sunday - holy synchronicity, it's a B from me.

A - okay but did nothing for me.

B - Album I return to often. Love the combo of Tabla, Violin and John and the passion between them all. First saw L Shankar as a guest on several songs with Zappa on Halloween 78. Then less than a year later with McLaughlin and the one Truth Band and a few weeks later solo at the Bottom Line. Also saw Remembering Shakti in 00 great show.

B is exhilarating and a little tiring after awhile...A was a surprise and I liked it a lot.

Not particularly convinced by A, which is a shame since I at least enjoy the Moore-associated acts. B was more my bag here, nice groove, nice playing and all that.

Since this tie is on a knife-edge, can you please let me know which letter this is supposed to be?
