I really like both of these selections, but The Comet is Coming wins here for me. It’s much more refreshing and fitting my mood tonight. A.

A - like so much of modern progressive music for me there's just something missing.

So inevitably and predictably it's a vote for Tull. Songs From The Wood is one of their very best albums.

A was an interesting track I really liked the sax and the groove but wasn't too keen on the rapping vocals that came later.

The mighty Tull and a wonderful track from a very robust album.

the greatest group that walked the planet.

A was interesting, but just didn't have enough musical invention to suit the agenda.

I'm very hit-and-miss with Tull - that might be my least favorite track from the latest Tull album that I like a lot - but it's more than enough here. B.

My feelings too, but I still liked it enough to vote for it even over a Tull pick I like a lot.

Like others, was enjoying The Comet Is Coming until the vocal.

Am very new to finding that I do like some Jethro Tull so haven't had the chance to overdose a real corker.

A -I sort of like this. The space rock and Nu jazz sound works. However there is enough bad rapping to turn me off.

B - had to look it up I saw the tour and they played Pibroch. great Barre tune I'll take it here.

I like this direction of socio -political rap, a la Dalek. I agree it does take a little bit of speed out of an awesomely driven track.
B is a bloody robust track though. Hard to vote against but I am gonna do it....

Honestly, even with Jethro Tull being a very obvious pick and easily being in disqualification grounds, I think I just prefer A outright too. A lot of people have complained about the "rapping", I don't think it's rapping so much as spoken word/poetry in this case and I do find it suitably moody, sociopolitically charged and evocative so as to give the track's far-out atmosphere a rather particular anchor. Meanwhile the drive of everything that comes before recalls the best aspects of 73-74 era Crimso. So, A. The Tull is good too, of course.

It’s no good, I just don’t like rap. And I don’t like sociopolitically charged and evocative lyrics especially when the rapper’s balls haven’t dropped. The sax is good though.

I've missed voting in this round and it wouldn't have made any difference, but let me just say after the event that I enjoyed this track immensely!
