This completes the voting from the Further Spanish jury. Sorry I didn't manage to vote in every round. I think I'll participate in the next 80s cup because bad as the decade generally was for music it wasn't that fucking bad!

A, it's great! B's one of the 80s Pet Shop Boys singles I care the least about, as it happens.

Typical of the whole 80's cup ok to good songs but nothing amazing.

A - Tom is Tom nice but not anything to write home about.

B- sums up the synth pop of the 80's lots of songs by different bands that could all just be mixed together.


I like the era but in my eyes I find the 60's 70's and 80's all better.

A because its not synth pop

Intriguing this: in the last '80s Cup I picked Tom Waits in the final ('Downtown Train') and was beaten by the Pet Shop Boys ('West End Girls'). And both of those songs were superior to these efforts.
That's not to say these two are bad, mind; the Waits is pleasant if minor and the PSB is catchy and affecting as always, though it seems to strive for something big that never comes.

Hmmm... B because this is likely the final vote and it seems set to lose anyway.
