80s Cup R9M7 - fange 9-12 Jumper K

Know and like both of these. A is a cut above other retro garage songs by dint of those sawtooth guitars, while B is just a great groove.

Both of them are perhaps overfamiliar so neither gets the advantage of being a brave or surprising pick... so today I'll go with A.

B is good disco fun of course, a bit hypnotic in its sparseness, but also a bit grating as you wait for the chorus. Is A over picked in Cups? I don't remember seeing it; it's got a great feel and energy, 2.5 minutes of garage-y goodness.

I don't see the appeal to B I'm afraid, there's no hook here, it's tedious a minute into its duration. A even though I wasn't particularly big on it either.

G and hatz are both right, these are old Cup warhorses but they’re both repeat picks for a reason - they’re both belters, 9/10. So, just a coin toss for me.
