Even if B weren't so lovely and delicate and poppy, it would win easily as the hateful bunch of anti-moosick prog no-marks they're up against are near the top of my list,so there's no way they're getting listened to. Anyone who thinks opera is a good idea can fuck off down the taste oubliette and fester.) But let's not waste time further excoriating the buck-toothed bog-shite and his crew of cunts to say that Neu! aren't a band I'm in any way well-acquainted with (I've probably heard Bohemian Rhapsody more than all other songs by all German bands – except Kraftwerk – put together) but a bit of ambient strillers is right up my boulevard, and I actually played it twice. I see from other comments that this is not typical Neu!, so I probably won't be exploring further, but this is easily 6 / 10

There are many many Queen tracks I would have chosen in front of that one.

The Neu sounds like, well, what it is. Which is an incredibly simple and unambitious melody, repeated ad nauseum.

You've been mislead. This is very typical of them. They basically have two styles - driving, repetitive stuff with a motorik beat and more ambient, minimal stuff. This combines the two but leans more towards the second style.

I love Queen. I love the album A is from. God, I hate A. Stupid song, stupid riff, stupid vocal asides - possibly their worst song until they started using synths.

B doesn't stick around quite long enough to get dull. And since this is the "damning with faint praise" cup... :D

I don't call myself a Queen fan, but there are a couple of songs I do like.....this one is at the top of the list.

The 70s Cups have convinced me not to dig a lot deeper into krautrock but Neu! 75 is definitely a high water record in that genre and that’s a great pick. Queen, urgh.

B

even if the other is one of about 4 Queen songs I like

Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

The Queen brings some fond memories but as a song it doesn't do much for me nowadays the way some other Queen tracks might. B is a lot more welcome right now for me, I like Mod's observations about its alpine quality.

I would actually pay to see that.

B is very lightweight; like Vangelis discovered bubblegum.

I hated Queen when I was younger, ( probably because I saw the video for BR at a very tender age and it freaked me OUT), but as I've become older and more histrionic, I've grown to appreciate their overblown rock sensibility. If you asked me which band I wish I'd seen live, it would be them.

How Queen became Britain's most beloved band baffles me. I like two songs by them, and A is not one of those. Zilth Pilchards bought Neu, and I thought they were a nuisance. So I must ABSTAIN

That's fucking ridiculous. How the hell does Neu lose against Tie Your Mother Down.?

There's some No. Carolina GOP ballot box shit going on around here.
