B is ok but A is a great 70s pop pick.

Woah, that's a bravely wet intro, it really is a damp cabbage of a keyboard intro. The singer looks like Michael McIntyre doing Peter Sutcliffe on Stars in Their Eyes. It's proper horrorshow.

B seems to be one of the better reggae tracks picked so far, the deftly-applied high-end piano is more of a hallmark of the ska era, as is the the warm burbly nature of the riff. A lovely little track indeed. This might be the kind of thing that could actually get me into the genre. Until I just re-read the track title I thought he was singing "better man scum" which seemed more than a little odd and unpleasant.

Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

I've always loved A. It's just a great tune with wonderfully sunny vibe. I find it amusing how BCB's angst brigade get so riled by this sort of thing.
The Delroy Wilson was very good too, but partly to show allegiance to whatever poor sod picked it I'll go..

I do like A and I suppose it's a brave pick, but I don't approve of the statement it makes about the 70s. If you're going to go yacht rock, be more definitive. If you're gonna go Doobies, dig deeper.

Not sick of reggae yet, but I'm getting there. But B is better than most of the picks so far.

A is chirpy and pleasant but for me, the melody never reallly coheres.
B is this round's token decent but unexciting reggae pick; ultimately I just prefer the sound of it in this tie.

God, I hate that Doobies tune... and I agree that B is the best reggae track so far.

Not fair, two masterpieces going against each other. Wish I could split the vote. I am going to ABSTAIN because I can't make up my mind.
