A gets a bit frilly for me, but that guitar redeems it.

I really like A but B is one of the great Eno songs. A real thing of joy and barmy wonder

Oh, brilliant. The two best tunes in the whole Cup get drawn together?

I have to come back to this...

Oh, Eno! I mean, usually I'd vote Funkadelic, but I've always found the Maggot Brain album a lttle trying, that anguished face on the cover really does speak volumes

This is another very good matchup with two tracks I love equally. I’m feeling B today, though.

Two really excellent choices.

The Eno track gets better as it progresses and ends up in some pretty spectacular places.

The Funkadelic is much more conventional, but no less exciting.

I think today... I like quirky more. B

Funkadelic were wildly inconsistent. At their best they were exciting and exploratory, at their worst they pandered to the rock crowd and turned out club footed, cumbersome stuff like A. B is Eno at his most smart-assed, it's not half as interesting or clever as it thinks it is.

Shame the funkadelic tune wasn't up against some of the other stuff in this round.
Eno easy

Ooh I'm Brian Eno I'm so droll and clever oooh
Whatever. Brian Eno, you need to hit it and quit it.
The riff! When the beat drops! The freaking keyboard part!
Funkadelic all the way.

Hmmm, I did like both, and I agree that this is one of the best matches so far. The Eno track is just a bit too clever, and it lost me slightly towards the end, whilst with Funkadelic it was the opposite. Think I'll reward that (and balance the match a bit)
