Dave messaged me on FB telling me he was very busy...so unfortunately he is now out of the Cup. Thank God Polishgirl was so kind to step in his shoes and has submitted a list.

Round 2 is up and will be tallied on Wednesday October 24 (Aussie time, so that will be around Tuesday night for most!)

I think I'm fucked already. I can't believe I drew Beefheart and Bowie in my opening two rounds!
I think Maarts must've handicapped me for being too successful over the years. ;) :)

I’m losing in round 2 and have just had a stinker of a draw in round 3. It’s like the 90s cup all over again...

-30, off to a "flying" start. Has there ever been a wider margin than my 3 to sloop's 33?

I'll admit that that result was a boilover.
Maybe this is a prog board after all!

Well that's a surprise. I didn't expect Basho's warbling to scrape through at all. I'm sure my later picks will rebalance things correctly and tip them against my favour.

One of the best parts of the BCB Cup-traditions is the Bitter Recriminations-thread that invariably contains the sighs, moans, complaints and righteous anger of those defeated.
Please, don't shy away from a deserved lashing of cloth-eared gimps deserving of your wrath.
