A for the beatz, and despite how sample-heavy it is.

Both were okay. I'm going with B.

I like both of these acts, but in A's case the vocals reminded me of the worst face of 90s neo-soul. B's Bonnie in his comfort zone and he does this thing very well.

Didn't like either. A offered the usual profanities and rap cliches, but also threw in an overwrought gospel vocal and the melody from 'I Will Survive' for bad measure.
B was too mopey and self-pitying by half. He sounds like he needs a spell in the army or a spell in Method Man's crew..whichever is worse. Shape up man!

What the fuck. Again. I mean, I've seen hip-hop getting an easy ride in this cup so far, but this is drivel. Not only living on past glories, but directly referencing the past glories in the lyrics, this is a complete mess, and a more-phoned in lyric is hard to imagine.

We've had a better track, and more interesting choice of song, from Will Oldham already in this cup, but it doesn't have to do anything against such lame opposition here. It's a decent, slight, meander down a muttersome road. But it has some craft, intimacy, and it isn't a wretched car-crash of a hip-hop track.

All the great Wu-Tang solo cuts and you choose... that. There are even some good tracks on that same album. Was it a mistake?
B is pleasant enough, if predictable in its mistaking laziness for delicacy.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Oh fuck. I'm obviously (Eminem excepted) no fan of hip-hop after about 1985 or so, and here I have the wu-tang up against the egregious Will Oldham, who's on my List. I'll give them 30 seconds each
a -a capella for the first 2 or so, then in comes a thudding beat. Could probably stand more of this - oh fuck me it's all right until the rap comes in - let's give Bony a go
b - well, it has a piano, but seems like the usual drear-fest.

Peg on nose, A

Seriously - is A really the best someone could muster from that genre? Jeez.

B is an utter fucking drivel-fest but at least it has the potential (no matter how small) to actually sound like more than 20 seconds were spent over its conception.
