Maybe you'll have more time in the new year.

I don't have a soul
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Re: 90s Cup musings
Congrats to Joel, commiserations to the rest.
I'm not sure if I moved house and had no internet at the right or wrong time but my experience of this Cup is that it was just wailing + strumming guitars and the occasional hip-hop track with a jazzy bass line.
Also, with the exception of Autechre, I submitted tracks that I normally wouldn't but maybe an average BCB member would in an attempt to hide myself. I regret this and wish I submitted more electronic dance as that kind of music is the foundation on which all of my taste is built on.
Pram, Main, and a couple of others that I can't recall off the top of my head were the only ones I didn't know that interested me.
Anyway, it was a well organised little competition. Cheers for hosting N/E.

Re: 90s Cup musings
70's would be great, even if it were to break down into tribalism...Electronic might also be interesting, because it would offer a wider range....Bizarro, as defined by others as a contest for the "Worst" songs, doesn't interest me..Don't see the point...Pre-Beatles would be pretty limited for me, but I'd give it a go...A "Soul" / R&B cup might be ok, but my depth of knowledge might not compare to some on here...

It's like Molly Hatchet never existed.
