I should've known NWW would show up here eventually.

Only Bryan Adams could possibly make me vote for it.

A needs to come up with a variation on that bass line, but Bryan Adams is not involved in any way, so it wins.

A has a minute's worth of idea stretched out to seven minutes. It was cute when the ukuleles or whatever came in halfway.

B, though.

The first half of A made me chuckle a few times, and I like the Faust-like groove the enter into following the initial two minutes even if I'm not too convinced by all the sudden starts and breaks, it feels like it's constantly cutting on the momentum the track could have otherwise had. Though I wouldn't be surprised if that was precisely the point.

I would have probably voted for it in other matches too but against Bryan fucking Adams it pretty much walks over (also I did give B a listen just in case - well, about a minute of it). So yeah, A.

I'm voting for B because any cunt that includes a Spice Girl and Bryan Adams track needs all the help they can get.

B is so banal and nondescript that it's barely there at all. Still there are worse musical crimes than blandness and the atrocious A manages to commit most of them.

I can't believe that I'm in with a chance of winning the tie after picking this, though I suspect many of you would love a guilt-free reason to vote for someone as dull as Bryan Adams. "Two Shaves and a Shine" has one of David Tibet's best and daftest vocal performances, ranted nonsense poetry at its finest, and it's a hell of a riff. Lovely bouzouki work, too.

The tie from hell! God, I've been looking forward to this one ever since I saw this getting matched up.

Love both the entrants of these but what the fuck?

A very discreet...

Ha! B just happens to be one of my favourite singalonga songs of the 90s.

I know, I know. But it's a big stonking

quite liked B. And I am not embarrassed.
Didn't like A but suddenly Sleaford Mods made more sense.

While you can sense a kind of internal logic to A, it’s just unpleasant to listen to. B is provincial town clothes shop pop of the era and I’ve always like it more than it deserves.
