The dark, relentless thrust of Wu Tang still retains a lot of its power, even though it's become the blueprint for so much rap since. As for B..I'm getting fed up of wading through tuneless, noisey shit.

All hail the Wu, one of those occasional acts who spawn many imitators yet remain immediately identifiable and unsurpassed. Like the Tribe cut earlier in the round, this is a pretty "easy" hip-hop pick, but it's hard to argue with.

It certainly deserves to be up against sommething better than B; instead, it's wasted.

I remember someone arguing on RYM that Protect Ya Neck was a perfectly constructed track, musical perfection. I don't agree, but there's no argument from me about the production values, this is how I want all my hip hop to sound. As soon as they got the money that success brought, they never managed to create something that sounded this good ever again. As already noted, it's an obvious pick, but I'm willing to allow the odd megalith of pop culture, when its as good as this.

B is proper cupicide, it sounds like a teenage redneck Residents. Though weren't The Residents rednecks already? I dunno. But that was legitimately terrible. Wish I could vote for it, but nah, it's a good old-fashioned whitewash.

B wants so badly for you to think they're "edgy." Whatever will they do when High School is over and mom and dad insist they earn a real living?

A doesn't need to do much, but I was already thinking it could beat most things. Highly overqualified in this context.

That other track is pretty wild, though.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
