I’m much less impressed by the Blackstreet track than I was back in 96 but I still dig that Bill Withers sample. Regardless, it completely trounces B, which seems to have no redeeming features whatsoever. Nice sleeve, though.

I really wanted to vote against A, which i never need to hear again for the rest of my life, and is overrated as all get out, but it's better than B.

Re: 90s Cup Round 2 Match 8
two more tracks new to me: although I had a few Cow albums I passed on in the great sell-out, didn't have this one.
a - surprised to find myself rather liking this, at least in part because it has singing on it, a bit of soulfulness, some harmonies; and the spare, slinky track is quite the groove, too. So, in the 20th match, I finally find a track I actually enjoyed listening to. 6.5 / 10
b - fucking hell, this isn't bad either, although starting full-on like that leaves them nowhere to go in terms of developing, and to my mind they flag a bit towards the end. And, as with virtually all hardcore, the vocals are at best an irrelevance. 5.5 / 10
