I liked the kraut drive on A, B had nothing that really appealed to me. A.

That may be, but they also deserve to win. A may not be wholly successful, but it at least goes "off book" a little bit. B is a dull song with a ridiculous singer and good guitar playing.

A bit of credit to A for being ahead of the times, because in the early part of this century there was a lot of this painfully serious pots-and-pans twee stuff around. It was still pointless rubbish though.
B on the other hand treads very deftly on the rock and roll line between silliness and flamboyance and has one of the era's best guitarists doing some of his finest work.

A and I liked it enough to check out some albums from Pram. Thanks for the suggestion.

I gladly forgot about Suede but trust this board to remind me of them again. I never knew mediocrity could be so flamboyant.

Fucking hell, it’s so easily Suede’s tie, it should be stopped by the referee. And yet, that piss awful Pram track seems to be winning. C’mon BCB, pull yourself together.

Suede saved the early 90s from grunge hell and Animal Nitrate is a great song

A's actually quite grown on me over the last couple of days, but it's not close to B.

A is the kind of pointless and pretentious "experimentation" that this competition seems full of. God save us from "serious"music fans.
Not a favourite Suede track, but it swaggers and sashays way ahead here.

Brett Anderson is an unsufferable twat, but I like his band.

It's not as inept as A anyway.
