I liked both, so I had to go with the one that suited my mood more

A makes Radiohead sound like Kylie. Not my thing at all.

B has the same relation to A Tribe Called Quest as 'The Frog Chorus' does to The White Album. It's just bump n'grind rap of the most inane and generic kind.

I can't vote for either.

B is horrid. Everything. The imagery, the 'music' the vocals. The whole fucking lot.

A is shit too, but it's not quite as offensive. Not quite.

Two seconds into the Q-Tip song I already liked it better than that Swans thing. Sorry Swans, but singing the exact same melodic phrase 15 times in a row is not interesting.

The Great Annihilator is probably Swans' finest moment, and although I don't think that is a particularly stand-out track, it has more than enough about it to fight off the minimal funk and nasal stylings of Q-Tip.

A all the way.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Not much variation in either, but I guess A makes a mote pleasant noise, as strange as it feels to be saying that about Swans.
