I'm not as enamoured with this tie as others here but that's not entirely surprising.
A, but they both went on.

Enjoyed both of these but B's Floydisms give it a slight edge.

Re: 90s Cup Round 1 Match 5
Is there a rule that says that Broadcast must be picked in every BCB cup? I've never even seen them discussed here outside of cups, but they're omnipresent when it matters.
B is shit though. Really, really pointless.

a The first I really heard of Broadcast was when Trish died. Since then, I've heard a few tracks, maybe even this one, and quite enjoyed them. Has female vocals, which is definitely a good thing, and a mildly psychedelic feel, if a little soulless. 5 / 10
b I bought a couple of EPs by this lot because I was swayed by the hype, and decided they were rubbish (although I got a decent price for them), irritating quirkers on the basement level of XTC. Lasted two minutes before I decided they had no hope of winning, and saved myself 6 minutes of precious lifetime that I could spend picking my nose. No mark(s)

A started out like a Klaatu-track before it mutated into some sort of Francoise Hardy-French revivalist theme.
B also has this 60s-vibe that doesn't come close to the grandeur of the Three EPs but still is good enough for me.

It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

I was convinced Broadcast were a Goat Boy choice. Ah well..
