I really like the music of A but it's just so wrong with the song. B - meh.

Abstain.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

I kind of agree. He gets round the problem by singing a different melody for large parts of the song!

I found the spooky, haunted childhood feel of B very intriguing. I just wish it had been applied to a different song as I've never been able to stomach that song.

I was expecting something cutesy from B, but they actually do something interesting with it. Is this the first song that's in the competition twice by different artists? Probably not.

I like A, but it's more what you'd expect.

Yet another soul cover of the Beatles.

And this isn't even a decent effort: Green's vocal seems to have been lifted from a completely different track.

It's actually a similar story with B, where the spooky, delicate arrangement deserves better than the bland vocal. Still, B.

A manages to be half decent, except the bits where he actually uses the melody from the wretched original. Would have been better if he hadn't used the same melody at all, or any of the words. As would the original.

I'm hoping B goes somewhere with this, it's a very West-End musical kinda rendering of another annoying original. It's ok, I just don't know what I'm supposed to do with it.

It’s Al Green all the way. It swings. Fantastic stuff.

I don’t get on with Pink Martini. I’m not impressed by this track. It’s nothing better than a bit of clever plink-plonking on the old joanna. With strings like good jam on bad bread.

i like the way Pink Martini approach their covers, I'm just not a fan of the song.
A is pretty good and that is enough for the vote.

Well, I liked A but loved B to pieces. It could be used as the soundtrack of a scene with somebody stabbing Doris Day, and that can't be bad. One of my faves from this cup.
