Axel doing a bad British accent or Cibo Matto's odd hybrid? Neither threaten the original in the slightest, but B is slightly less ridiculous.

Blimey, I've picked some tracks that I knew were going to get a kicking, but picking a G n' R track is BCB suicide. It's very similar to the original, if memory serves, and I'm really not sure what Axl is doing with his voice, but it doesn't sound much like himself, so that should be better. I don't see why they've released a clone of the original though.

B is another big bag of not my thing, some of these vocals are proper nails down blackboard. But it does more with the source material than Axl & chums, so I think it deserves the nod on that basis.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

It isn't the fact it's GnR, it's the accent. And it's very like the original without improving on it.

Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

I didn't think A was terrible. A little pointless, maybe, but OK.
B did my head in. It was imaginative, but shambolic and annoying.

a - Who would have thought that the first time I would listen to Guns and Roses they would be doing a pretty faithful UK Subs impression, and wife-beater would be mimicking Charlie Harper? Nice punky slash (sorry, unintentional) to the guitar in the choruses, but could do without the fret-wankery in the middle 80. It was better than I was expecting, band was decent, but as Thang-y pointed out, not much new to chew for we happy few who already knew the Subs. 3.5 / 10
b - This is the sort of thing I tended to lap up in the early 80s, but a post-punk version of a Nirvana song is stretching the time-frame a bit. It just about wins here, though. 4 / 10

If A was paired up against The Carpenters, it would have been the very first time I abstained from any Cup. Such as it is....
