Re: PP2017 Grand Final Match 7
Not a fan of track A at all. Far too wanky and indulgent. B started to grow on me once it went into the post-punk stuff. Definitely B here.

Ah, two from the glammy/gothy end of things! Nice!
I never seem to go farther than like with BBD. They're amiable, but they never really get and hold my attention for too long.
B was an interesting project, and certainly Mick Karn was the best musician Mr. Murphy ever worked with. This particular track is...pretty good. Don't love it either. But I like it a bit more.

I met Mick Karn once he was nice. Unlike this track.

Re: PP2017 Grand Final Match 7
I love a bit of guitar wankery and enjoyed A - like Hatz I tend to like BBDL but nothing more, that just might inspire me to find a bit more.
B was pretty decent too.

I like the riff in B but I can't say I overall enjoyed the track. A kinda melded into the background after a while, but I liked Bill Nelson's playing on it (at least I presume it's him).

Re: PP2017 Grand Final Match 7
Like both a lot, Bill Nelson's is a wonderful guitarist (but not much of a singer).
Mick Karn's one-off project with Pete Murphy, however, was a great experiment - and this might be their finest moment.

Re: PP2017 Grand Final Match 7
i did like B with its semi-heads feel, but i think A is all over it. (i won't bring up my gweetar thing, coughcough, which was masterfully done in A.)
